The above is our original proposed route. You can see that the actual route (above) is a bit different. Many of the key points are the same, but if there’s one thing we’ve learned in our time of traveling, it’s that flexibility is critical.
Routes are always subject to change, based on what flights are available/affordable, what you hear from other travelers (especially cyclists) along the way, how much time you have, what the seasons are… and infinitely more variables. You’ll see our actual route is a bit convoluted, and has included more flights than we originally intended. But alas, it is what it is, and we have loved our route and the experiences and sites it has offered us.

Let me know if you need any tips about traveling in Thailand! Who knows…maybe we’ll end up there at the same time! (We’ll be visiting our partnerships in Thailand, India, & Swaziland at least once a year- maybe more!)

You should go more up the east coast of Australia if you can! I spent a couple of months in Brisbane and the coastal areas north and south of there are beautiful. I know a bunch of people you could hook up with there too!

Okay: Extreme jealousy then overwhelming sense of relief that you didn’t invite me at the last second. You are my heroes! If the wind blows you this way you’re welcome to camp on our front lawn any time you want

Love this site! Keep writing. I wish you were going to be in Europe in October and November of this year when I will be there…but alas, no. Praying for you both. No more crashes, OK?
